Went to Idaho Falls to try and find the falls there, and we did. They ended up being quite cool. I liked them a lot.

So chad showed me this little robot called Mr. Evolta and i happen to love robots. He is going to be doing a triathlon sometime soon. I think he is just adorable on his little bike. There is also a video of him climbing the grand canyon and thats quite cute too.

Well, its been quite awhile since I posted.

I am married.

I still don't have any pictures from the wedding. My mom should be getting the cd soon and then mailing it on to me. Until then, here is a picture of chad and I signing our marriage certificate. And, we just got it in the mail today. They are actually kind of pretty looking. But the wedding was nice. It feels like it all happened pretty quick and like it was forever ago, but its only been 2 weeks. haha. I went to Seattle for my honeymoon.
Seattle was very cool. It was quite overwhelming at first. Our rental car was not at the airport which confused us and then once we got the rental car place the car cost more then we thought it was going to be, and then our hotel was very down town Seattle with lots of one way streets and that was confusing. And then the hotel guy tricked us into paying $40 to park in the hotel parking garage. The next morning we moved the car into a parking garage next door that was only $25 a day. Later we decided to just return the rental car and found out that the monorail goes straight to the airport to right next door our hotel and that was only $5.25 for both chad and I. Once we figured out the whole rental car thing and the better way to get around Seattle it was really cool. We found this Japanese store that has the coolest things. Everything in the store was $1.50 and they had these way pretty bowls and plates. We bought 4 really cool bowls. We also went to see the space needle, a museum, and Pikes Market. My favorite part about Seattle is how detailed all of the old buildings and things are. I wish every city was built like the olden days. Below is a picture of our view from our hotel room. It was the best. And the other is chad in the Seattle library which is just the coolest building ever.

And I've moved into my new apartment
We are finally all moved into our apartment. We found a couch on craigslist. I liked it a lot. Bought a 40in tv off Amazon. I also like it a lot. And got a mattress for free from jessica and josh. Which is much better then sleeping on the floor. We also just got internet today. We were looking into getting cable one which was way expensive but we could find any better deals. It was so expensive I thought it would be best to just go to the library to do my homework when chad goes to class and we could just get by with chad's phone internet. But, chad's mom called and told us about this internet service and it was a great deal. Chad called up this morning and we went and picked it up and bought a wireless router at walmart and now im sitting on the couch in our living room on my computer. I've missed etsy and modcloth and blogging. Im very glad we have the internet. Since we've moved it its also been chads birthday! He turned 23. He already new I got him a wii and he already opened it before his birthday so that was lame. But he still got some presents in the mail and our tv came that day so that was fun. Here is chad and his cake! The candles spell c p if you couldn't tell. haha.

Finally got to bring my wedding dress home today. Its now hanging up on my closet door. We also went and ordered are cakes so they will be ready to be picked up on friday. There will be three of them, a chocolate 10 in, german chocolate 8 in, and this other pretty chocolate one i liked which will be the 6 in.

I washed the windows and the downstairs and upstairs bathroom. I also watched an episode of voyager. Now im just laying in my bed a little bored. I looked through older pictures on my computer and found this one from the engagement pictures. I probably didn't like it the first time i saw it because chad's face is hidden, but looking at it a second time i liked it anyways.

I practice packed my stuff today, well not my clothes but everything else, and i think it's all going to fit. I hope.

Also, im excited for barbara to get here tonight! Her cell phone isn't working outside of idaho so i hope all goes well for when we pick her up, i'll make sure to go early so she's not stranded with her quarters using a pay phone.

I accidentally set off our house alarm today. I messed up turning it off and then the really loud alarm sounds went off and my mom came back into the house and turned it off then called the alarm people to tell them it was an accident but they said it didn't show the alarm went off. But then, about 20mins later my mom got a call from the alarm people saying it went off. Then when we came home there was another call about it. So there's something not working with the alarm so i suppose it was a good thing i accidentally set it off in the first place.

The fair was nice and all, but im glad to be home and get to take a shower and have flushing toilets.

Tonight for fhe we are going on a bike ride down the trail ben and i found. Im pretty excited, its a good trail. Also this is our last day together before everyone comes and then i get married! Its weird thinking to myself that im getting married this week.

Also just remembered i need to try fixing my jeans with the holes in them. oh and take my clothes off of the bed barbara will be sleeping in tomorrow.

I made brownies. still haven't made banana bread.

And i have to say, etsy has gotten very good at suggesting things i might like. It surprises me a little sometimes. Today it showed me these hanging jar lights. I really like them. i like anything to do with glass jars really.

Off to the Alaska state fair today. We're driving the motor home so we'll be there until sunday morning.

Went to a tux rental place today to see if they do same day rentals and how much they cost and it looks good. And its close to our house so thats nice.

My grandparents and barbara fly in on monday. Barbara at 9:30pm and then grandparents at 11:45pm. We bought a giant thing of cheese balls to put a bow on and bring to barbara when we pick her up at the airport. So that will be funny.

Today i went to platos closet for the first time ever. I've always wanted to go there, and i got three shirts.

I also got my book for next month. Although i really really want to read it right now but then it wont count for next month. Darn the arthur read club.

Went to the alterations place tonight. My dress will be finished on saturday!

Besides that i didn't really do much besides follow my mom around while she shopped. Oh, actually kaleigh shaun and hannah came into town and we ate at red robins with them. That was fun hannah was all sleepy and cute.

I bought some fleece yesterday and finally made my blanket i've always wanted to make. There was robot fabric, however, it was not the right type of robots i like, so i resisted and went with whales.

I also rewatched dr. horrible's sing along blog with ben and jenna and remembered how good it is. I may or may not have bought the album on itunes?

And for today, it is sunday sunday. We had fhe and my dad made each of us take turns dressing up like an old testament prophet with towels.. kind of odd i know. But it was pretty funny.

Then i finished my book. It finished well, kind of twisted and a little disturbing. But im still looking forward to reading the next.

Spent my evening yesterday reading my book (Silent in the grave, Deanna Raybourn) it has become quite good. Im looking forward to reading the rest of her series, although there are like 5 books in the series and this book is about 430 pages so i imagine her other books are about that long which im not the best at reading that much twice a month.

La la la whatever

I've decided I want to make my own curtains for our windows. I've decided I want to make the ones that are sewn around the bar not the type that has hooks that go around the bar, i think those look too much like shower curtains. I think a yellow and white fabric would be cool?

I decided to take some pictures of the wedding stuff so far. Its pretty much all ready except for my dress, which is kind of important.

These are my shoes, ear rings, head band, and bracelet.

My bouquet and two boutonnieres i made. We went and looked at flowers to buy but all the pretty ones i liked were hundreds of dollars, so later when we were at Michaels Arts and Crafts and i was looking at their flower selection i saw a bunch i liked and decided i could make it easily myself. So i did.

The candles x 36. These will go down the little pathway where we are having the wedding ceremony. Even though it wont be too dark in Alaska at 6pm i still think it'll be pretty.

Lastly, here are the brown ties that all the guys will be wearing. My mom made dresses for all the girls which are pretty.. but pictures of them without people in them just aren't that cool.

Chads wooden ring came in today as well. im quite happy with it. Its a good one. I hope he agrees.

Today i made deviled eggs. I found out after making them the mayonnaise expired last year.

The other day I went and took some pictures of jenna. I really like how they turned out. I used kaleighs nikon d90 so that was pretty fun to. I like it, but it is different.

Yesterday I got my hair dyed. Its finally a nice dark color not green and lame.

School started for ben and jenna on tuesday.

I applied for a custodial and food service job with Madison School District today. Hopefully i get it. Im hoping for the custodial one over the food service job.

I looked at places and things to see in Seattle and found this place call Fremont Troll. I think it would be fun to see.

I was bored on facebook looking through old friends pictures and found this picture of a cute puppy.

After seeing him i then started looking at puppies and puppies and more puppies. I do want a dog so bad. But anyways, i was looking at google and puppyfind.com which always has some really cute puppies for sale and i like the options for find specific breeds.

I have been told that my announcements have reached anchorage, valdez, and california. So that is exciting. We have also had 20 views on the website.

I am off to the eye doctor today. And then my mother is making us go to bens elementary school for his class ice cream social. Which i feel like just ben and my mom should go to, but we will see.

Also chad and i realized last night that we have a song. The beginning of this song always brings back early memories so its perfect.

I've also found a new singer i like. his name is Greg Laswell. He kind of reminds me of the same genere as joshua radin.

Love was good. What i expected. There were slow parts but all together it was a good movie. The live concert afterwards was very bad however. Tom was awful.

The brown ties came in. Now everyone will have a matching brown tie for the wedding.

We bought the candles for the steps. They are little tea light candles in a little taller glass vase/cups. it'll look pretty.

Ben and jenna start school next week. Ben isn't going to german school anymore. He is back at the public school so he can make some friends before he goes to jr. high next year. I think thats for the best, he was never that good at german anyways.

I have new jeans to wear today! Thats always a happy feeling.

I get married in 3 weeks minus 1 day.

today i brought my wedding dress in to get altered. She's going to let out the sides and then i'll come back in and see what needs to be done.

We were looking at wedding cakes online and at stores today but none seemed too good and then we were at Fred Myers and bought a slice of this chocolate cake for fun and it ended up tasting very good. Its got the flake chocolate on the sides and really thick frosting it was rather pretty. So i think we will get like two of those and a german chocolate cake and then buy one of those cake things that are different levels to put them on.

The pretty lake with the dock and lodge is booked on september 2nd so we will not be getting married there very sadly. Im thinking beluga point is where its going to be. If its raining then oh well.

Tomorrow im going to the dentist to fill my 3 little cavities. Sad. My mom is making me drive alone too so after im done and all hurting and sad i have to drive all the way home by myself. horrible i know. jk.

On the announcements we bought pink label tape that matched the little hearts on it and then typed on it the web site address in little words and stuck that over the temple words so it all looks nice. Im glad that part worked out. We will be sending them out pretty soon. Tomorrow perhaps?

long long time ago

Im back home in Alaska. Its been nice. Getting things done for the wedding. We have been looking for a place to have the wedding and have finally found some where i like, its called beach lake, its out past eagle river. There is a lake and a pretty little dock that goes out into the water and then this lodge place you can rent out. We still need to call tomorrow and make sure its open for our date but yeah. Hopefully it works.

This morning i decided if i did not wake up in time for 8am to get ready for church then i'd go to the singles ward, But i woke up. haha. So i was with my family. It was actually a bett

er time then usual, im not sure why.

I've been bored so im just looking at things for fun like furniture and headbands. I need to pick out a ring for chad p since he wont pick one. Thats feeling stressful. haha. But oh well, he'll just have to like it. But anyways, here are some cool things I've found lately.

And this couch is from walmart and i actually really like it. From the looks at least, you can never tell until you sit on a couch if its actually good. It is $300 and comes in black brown and grey. I like the brown the best.

Well i am still here at chaddy parr's. We leave for Duluth tomorrow then i'll be staying in a hotel for the night and my flight is the next morning at 5 am. On the way to Duluth we are going to pick up our announcements at the border.

Chad has this new app he downloaded yesterday its called gear patrol, its like for rich people. But it has some cool things. These are two things i thought were quite cool.

This is like a cool hanging basket to hang out in over the water. Very cool.

Today is the Sabbath.

I went with chad and his family to church it was fun to be in a family ward again. I am excited to go home, I'm thinking I might go to the singles ward when i go home. That might be fun. I always get tired of being my families ward, its like I know everyone but not really? Its emotionally stressful i guess.

My mom has told me that her, jenna, mary, and kaleigh are all making their dresses for the wedding. So im looking forward to seeing what the pattern is for them and how they turn out. Hopefully good. haha. Here is the pattern that they are making them out of. The fabric is a dark brown and some gold fabric too.

Chad painted my toe nails with permanent marker. They will probably be ugly for awhile now.

Im tired so im thinking about going to my room and read my book in my bed. Maybe fall asleep too.

I'm here at chad parr's home. Its been pretty nice so far. We went to these waterfalls called Kakabeka. It was so pretty. I just wanted to sit and look at them for hours. I'll be here for like quite awhile longer. Chad is in Denver right now. Then he'll fly to Minneapolis then here to Duluth.

Last night I stayed at Mary's families house. I got into my bed at like 12:30 and couldn't fall asleep until a little past 1:30. Then i woke up at 5:35am. It wasn't too much sleeping but it was nice to get to sleep in a bed and take a shower in the morning.

So i like them. I think they are pretty good.

I just heard that there is a new spider-man movie coming out. But its like the exact same first spider man just a different actor. Its really strange.

This is the last week of finals. Almost done. And then I go to chad's families house for a week then back to my home. Then I get married.

Chad and I signed the lease on an apartment this morning! Its pretty cool. Its a town house with 1,000 square feet. I can't wait to live there. It'll be way fun. We are also like right next to kimberlys so thats kind of cool as well.
