Me and Diddy dripping diamonds like Marilyn

I am posting lots and lots of these same looking photos because I think my kids are adorable and I can't choose between which one to post (and there are more then this on my computer!). Also.. the editing is different then I normally do because I think it looks really pretty and I like it. But I'll probably think its dumb to edit like this in like a year like all photography phases go... but thats why I have the originals saved away. So theres that.

I'd be rich.

For Memorial weekend we were able to head up to Thunder Bay for a few days and we had lots of fun like always! I didn't take a ton of photos, I actually took a lot of photos for a friends business which was really cool and made me want to start doing more photography again.. so we will see.

One Two Buckle my Shoe

I've bought the L shaped green couch from World Market I always wanted! I'm slightly regretting the green because I have to change everything in my living room now. It's a little overwhelming, but I think i've decided on a new color scheme. But... the best part is the L shape because now we have the wall with the doors to the deck open and our porch is a fun place to be this summer. Our upstairs neighbor who use to smoke on her porch about 5 times a day also moved out so we can use it normally for that reason as well!

I'd build a big house were we both could live.

During Charlie's naps sometimes Oliver and I "learn". I ask him the night before what he wants to learn about and then I go and google somethings/print things off and then the next day while Charlie is sleeping we learn about whatever it is. He is super into plants vs. zombies the game so of course once he said plants. Which was cool, because plants are cool in real life. Anyway... we went to home depot and picked out some seeds, came back and put them in jars with wet paper, and they grew! It was crazy how fast they actually grow. Like if you look in the morning compared to the evening they could have grown almost an inch. After they were pretty big in the jar I decided we should probably try transplanting them. I showed Oliver how and then let me go to town. He did a fantastic job and they are growing really well on our porch right now. We should probably get them a bigger pot (there are a ton of seeds in there together haha).

So it was a great time with him and it made me feel a little closer to that homestead life I want some day. Although lets be honest, I'll only be like a partial homesteader, I'm not dedicated enough to be a true one! But land, I'll have lots of land.

Two can keep a Secret.

Here are some random pictures from April. Oliver looking cute on Easter and then Charlie.
