Cut the Chase

Just the past week....

So Chad officially has a job now and it is super cool. He works from home, is a ios mobile developer, and works his own hours (well is contracted to work a certain amount of hours on a project and he picks how quick or slow he does them). Its pretty much our dream job. We just hope the hours stay consistent. He also has a pending job with the Timber Wolves but he isn't sure if he should take it because he wouldn't get to work from home and the pay is less. So.. we will see what happens.

But since chad is working from home now I actually can't bother him in his office any more so i've been trying to play a lot with Oliver. Which is going pretty good, I've taught him to play doctor with his dinosaurs, so we are getting somewhere...

Anyways.. just some pictures..

We made another fort and ate lunch under it.

Cheese face.

Kitty was the heavy weight holding it together.

We play this snack game with different foods and his tackle box and that keeps him entertained for a little..

Just playing cars.

And thats it. I have a bunch of photos on my phone from when we've gone out and about but thats too complicated right now. I'll probably post them later... or never :)

Long Story

It's a little late for a garden but I finally got around to the start of one this summer. I bought some Ikea shelving for $15 which fits real nice on our porch. Its not as pretty as our old one, with the nice brick wall but I have some ideas.

Im just starting out with a little cherry tomato plant and some yellow snapdragons.

Afterwards, Oliver played in the dirt.. with water, so actually mud.

Kitty was a little concerned.

And on other news I'm now a monthly contributor for a blog called Doublethebatch.com.  Its pretty fun and you can see my first blog post here. I'm working on my next post and its going to be a real fun one!

Better Lock it in your Pocket.

The other day I realized I'm turning into one of those people who I never liked. The ones who take billions of baby pictures but then slowly stops taking photos once their kids start growing up. So I got my camera out of my room and its back on my kitchen counter ready to be used for those every day moments, not just the ultra cute ones.

So here are a few photos that have been sitting on my camera for awhile... its funny how Oliver changes so quick, another reason why I absolutely should be taking photos more often.

I think Oliver looks like a little old man in this photo.

We made a fort and ate cookies one day.

Oliver is a Huge play dough fan. Huge.

Oliver wouldn't smile for the camera so Chad tried to help him out a little.
