Every where? Every where

Today was my day off from work and so we went to see the Avengers. It was much better then i thought it was going to be. The trailers looked silly like there were giant monsters and the Avengers consisted of little wimpy humans who shouldn't (but would) be able to bet the bad guys. Well... it was still a little like that. But not as bad as i thought. I loved that parts with iron man. I think if he wasn't in it i wouldn't have cared for it much at all.  There was one part about it that was annoying. (Spoiler) The hulk is in it and there is a scene were he can not control himself. He goes crazy... But then, the next scene we see him in he rides up fine as his human self and then right when they need him he turns into the hulk and for the rest of the movie controls himself perfectly. Saving people, killing only bad guys.. and it doesn't explain how he all of a sudden was able to control himself perfectly....?

Anyways.. good times with chad p and no work!

We went to go look at kittens yesterday in Idaho Falls. I saw online on Petfinder.com that there were three kittens for adoption at the animal shelter. I forgot though that it closes early on saturdays so we got there 13 minutes too late. So we went to bestbuy and Ross for fun and after that to petsmart which was next door. At petsmart was two very cute kittens. One in particular. He looked just like darcy but gray. He was cute.. I held him and wanted to bring him home.. but i resisted. I made a pros and cons list before we went to idaho falls just incase i saw a kitten and wanted to bring it home i'd have already decided if it was a good idea or bad. I had many pros... but two important cons..the first was money. To adopt a kitten its $103 from the animal shelter and $80 from petsmart. That includes spay/neuter, and shots. And the second thing was that darcy wasn't even allowed so a second kitten probably isn't a good idea. But there is only like 2 and a half months left right?

And this is the kitty that was at petsmart. He was soo cuddly. It made us realize that darcy isn't and never was a cuddly cat. Sad.

And of course now i should post a picture of darcy because she is the cutest cat ever right? Here she is in her new favorite place to sit.

This time for Africa

I've had a lot of extra time lately by myself when chads at school and im home alone so i've been looking at nikon camera's. My favorite nikon reviews come from this guy named Ken online. His website is, http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/, and he reviews like everything nikon its fantastic. I trust his advice. My dream camera has been the Nikon d300 for years and years which came out in 2007. That was back when i read about cameras all the time. I stopped for quite awhile. Today when i was reading about the new cameras Ken raves about this other camera that came out in 2011 and is cheaper then the my d300 which he says is better then the D300 and the D90. So now i don't know what to think about my dream camera. Maybe its not my favorite any more?


Anyways i also came across this old school camera (D1) from 1999 for sale for $134. I think it looks ridiculous and, it only has 2.7 megapixels which is quite funny. Most phone cameras have more megapixels then that.

Also.. i love summer. Its soo warm and pretty lately. I always want lots of fruit when its warm. I went to the store the other day when chad was gone.. again.. and bought watermelon and strawberries. It was yummy.

Yes.. i've become an awful blogger.

I think my main reason for not blogging lately is because i started this online class, which i didn't need to take i was just taking it to be a full time student, and im a huge procrastinator and never wanted to do my homework so to keep myself from feeling like i should do it i just wouldn't go on my computer at all. There have been days where my laptop was never opened the whole day. But i've figured out away to not have that problem. Im going to fail my class. This probably sounds bad.. but its actually ok. Im going to keep it until i am done working at the end of the semester and then drop it and get a "W" instead of the F. I was very excited when i figured that little plan out.

Besides planning on failing classes, not much else has been going on. It's been getting sunny again, which i love! Chad and i went for a little walk the other day. I've also been hanging out with some friends which is different. My old friend Maury is back in Rexburg and we happened to have a class together. We went to watch the lucky one and ate out. It was fun. I don't suggest watching the lucky one. I thought it wasn't any good. It was fun, but i still don't like doing things without chad. I guess im rather clingy. :) So the next friends i hung out with, my friends from work, i brought chad parr with me. We went to big juds. Its were you can buy giant 1lb hamburgers (or even 6lbs!). Chad and i shared a 1lb and hardly ate half of it. It was fun. I had never been there before.

Its been awhile.. 

We went to Alaska to visit my family. It was super. Lots of fun. Its too bad it wasn't very long. I didn't bring my camera so i don't have much to post. I do have a couple pictures from chads ipad that i posted on facebook. 

Lets see what else has happened.... I got new shoes. It was buy one get one half off. And i wanted to get new shoes that where not tennis shoes that were closed toe for work.

I also modge podged a little shoe book with those left over book pages i had to make a little cord box for a bunch of cords we had laying around connected to the internet modem stuff. So that looks a lot better now. I saw the idea on pinterest once and thought it was cool. 

And here is some stuff from chad and my book arts class we are taking together this semester. Its a really cool class. So far we have learned how to tear paper. The paper they get is from japan and it comes in really big sheets so you have to tear it using this little tool. Its actually harder then it sounds. haha. After we learned that we made a bunch of pages together which make something called a signature and now we are making them into pamphlets which is the pages sewed together with a cover. Here are two of chads...

  And yep thats about it. Oh... besides my birthday coming up on Saturday!

We had a super Easter, dying eggs, eating candy, and playing the egg Olympics. 

 And here is my egg Olympic line up. If you don't know what the egg Olympics is then thats ok. Its something chad's family made up. Its were each person takes turns setting up a "course" type thing. Like you have to throw the egg into a bowl with a blanket in it with pots all around so if you miss then your egg can break. If your egg breaks then you move onto your next egg until your all out, then you lose. You want to be the last one with an egg and you win. So anyways.. chad won. it was close though. We were both on our last egg (out of 4).

And here is darcy in her cat carrier we got. She likes to fall asleep in it. Can't wait for Alaska in a couple days!

And here is a little elephant thing i got at Ross for 5 dollars. It was going to go as a book end on our fireplace.. but i changed my mind. haha.

And here is a new project i did. I bought this frame at DI for 2 dollars. It was gold so i painted it with the left over desk paint. Then i had left over book pages from when i made that hollow book plant thing. I used them to modge podge onto the picture frame back then added a picture. I've looked every where for a place to post it but i either already have too many picture frames or the color doesn't match stuff. So for now its sitting on the table. I was thinking about taking the picture off and put hooks like a cute little key holder or something but we only have 1 set of keys and there would still have no where to put it.

Yep.. and thats about it lately. Looking forward to Alaska. I think im working 4 to Midnight for the next 2 days which is going to be tough.

Another day.

So i painted my desk i bought a di. Its a bright color but i like it. Some day if i ever get the Ralph Lauren glaze i've talked about before i think i'll glaze it. Anyways, i have tons of pant left over. Only bought a quart and i'll be able to paint a billion more things with it. haha. 

I also made this over the weekend. I bought the tin container at di for 50 cents and went out and bought some fake flowers and that green foam stuff to push the flowers into. I really like it. It goes on my yellow side table i painted a while ago.

Im done with school on wednseday! Which is Tomorrow. 

Also i saw the hunger games i thought it was kind of disappointing. The way it was filmed all shaky and super zoomed in bothered me. And i felt like the charters weren't developed very well. Like if i hadn't read the book i would not have understood or cared for the characters very much? 

Anyways. Of to work soon. sadly. Then home to sleep then a final, exit interview, and a paper to do tomorrow.  

For mom

 This is a post for my mother so she can get stuff ready for darcy coming to visit.

We buy Whiskas "kitten" food and Mimi litter kitty litter.......

And this is what i was talking about with how we cut the box for her kitty litter so she doesn't make a mess. Its a pretty small littler box i think it cost like $2 or so. Its the cheapest and smallest one for sale at walmart. It works well. 

Theres no way im letting rainy street down again.

This is pretty much going to be a catch up blog about random things i haven't yet posted pictures about...

Here is a picture of my curtains i never posted, its a little dark it was hard to get a good one with it bright outside, but yep i like them.

And this is a little di buy i got awhile ago. Its a little tray i bought and then i painted it black. Yep...haha. 

And here are some funny photos of darcy! We bought her a little sweater and rain jacket. I think she looks very funny. She's not a big fan of them though. 

 Also, chad bought a new skateboard he's been looking at for awhile. Its tiny, and adorable, and it came with matching sunglasses.

Lastly. I found a sewing machine desk from di today! For only $10. Its an old sewing machine desk so it has the big hole in it and stuff and the table flips up to make it longer. Im going to repaint it. I think i have an idea of the color. But im still deciding.

And just another little thing i found at di was this picture frame. I put in my own picture i had printed off a couple months ago thats just been waiting around for a good frame to go in.
