Will you still love me..

I've been searching pinterest for places to go here in minneapolis and for the past couple weeks i've been wanting to go to one of them called minnehaha falls. We finally went and the pictures on pinterest do not even come close to doing it justice. The falls themselves are cool but i was super impressed by the way the park is set up. You can pretty much walk all around the falls from the very top to the bottom, on the left the right, even a bridge above the falls. And there is also a path following the river along the bottom of the falls which is very pretty.

I'm pretty much becoming a huge fan of Minneapolis. I should probably by a t-shirt or something?

There was also other little things at the park like this path and an old house which is the first house west of of the Mississippi... or something...

You can be the peanut butter to my jelly.

The past week chad and i made our way up to thunderbay for a little family fun time. We hope to go back up in July for one last trip before im quarantined in Minneapolis until Oliver is born. Which I am 30 weeks now so only 10 more weeks to go! Crazy crazy!

Kasey, Andre, Chad, and I went for a little off roading in the jeep which ended up more like adventure time in boots for chad. We didn't find the trail we were looking for so we just walked down a real muddy trail where chad gained a new love for rain boots. I should probably buy him his own pair.

We also met prim, kaseys stray cat, who actually has a home... We loved her. Shes real cute and friendly. And pretty.

Chad and i made a quick trip to the marina for a little walk after eating at hoito, which was actually surprisingly very good i'd eat there again.

And finally we took some family pictures. I know kasey already posted this one on her blog but its such a funny one i had to post it too :)

And since my timer was too short i never got a good whole family one, but here is a fun outtake.

And the shed picture. I have one with the shed in all its glory but this is a cropped one i though becky might appreciate a little more ;)

You light me up inside like the fourth of july

To start this post here are some cat pictures... everyone's favorite

Darcy being a baddy on the deck.. she's always trying to go as far as she can under the railing.

Sometimes I leave the screen door open and find kitty sitting on the chair. Its adorable.

So.. im afraid all my plants are dying? All the flowers i bought died for sure. I had to dig them all out and throw them away. My strawberry plant had bugs in the dirt and leaves were turning brown? I've kind of given up on him, but he still grows new leaves everyone in a while? My tomato and pea plants are still growing everyday but sometimes look bad. Like a little bit shrived. I think the main problem is they aren't getting enough direct sun light. But i don't know. :(

We also went to como park which is a giant giant park, golf course, sports fields, conservatory, zoo, and amusement park. And it was all free it was very cool. I'd love to go back again soon.

And here I am all pregnant.... Officially in the third trimester!

Never ever ever. Getting back together.

Heres a quick little post about our past week and a half...

We got to meet up with our buddies kim and zach and their little girl bree. They had a flight fly into Minneapolis so we got to see them for about an hour. Too short.. but fun!

And.. we went to waterloo for probably the last time to help out with moving Jeni and her family.. although doctor greg didn't really let me move anything.. but it was really great to see every one hopefully it'll happen again in July!

And when we got home I went to check on my plants and my pea seeds sprouted! And even my tomato plant is growing so well I'll need to get a cage thing for it soon. Hash tag Exciting!

Baby, baby, baby, baby, right on time.

Well things are going pretty great! I've been feeling pretty productive lately and keeping up with school work and stuff at home. Chads been working and starts school next week. Im 24 weeks pregnant! Oliver moves aaallll the time. I feel like he should be sleepier and im worried he's going to be a rowdy one. Oh well :)

Here's my toes starting to disappear.

We also went to the big spoon here in Minneapolis that kasey had mentioned we should go see. It was pretty cool but the garden place around it was actually cooler. It was the coldest day of the week that we went but it was still fun to walk around.

And as planned I painted that music box boat from the thrift store, but decided to go white instead of blue and gold which im very glad I did. It looks dreamy and beautiful. Love it.

And.... I've been wanting to have a few plants for awhile now but never felt like i had a good spot to put them until this apartment. Once i decided to make a little balcony garden i went all out planning and made some big plans with homemade pots, shelves and everything. I realized they were too big of plans and that our deck although bright doesn't get direct sunlight for most of the day so i would hate to buy a bunch of plants and have them all die.

My original plans....

So i went back to small plans and then waited around until i found some cheap shelves that happened to show up at my favorite thrift store last week for $3.99. I liked the grey look so just added a little bit of paint to make it not look sooo industrial.

I bought one strawberry, one tomato, two sets of annual flowers, and had some Alaskan pea seeds from chad for my birthday. And got some cute pots from homegoods.

And here she is! I still need chad to take out the second shelf for me so i can actually have some plants grow on the lower half with out being so sheltered. But besides that its turning out pretty nice, im excited to add more plants once i know these will grow, which the strawberry plant is already doing great, hope it continues.

And here is darcy checking out the new plants. The cats have already tried nibbling on the plants while they were in the house..

Ohh.. and i got this cheap chair for $15 at walmart that i've already enjoyed for a little this evening. :)
